The World Music Organization is committed to supporting "at risk" musical traditions through various means. Our first project is the creation of a music school in the greater Seattle area for the instruction of North Indian Classical Music. We are also planning a number of cross-cultural concerts, associated workshops, meals, etc. designed to bring together artists and their audiences who represent the musical traditions from Native American culture, Latin America, Africa, India, Greece, and so on. |
